Boundary Waters Park baseball/ softball tournament facility is a very popular venue for organized recreational and competitive league play. Located less than 30 minutes drive from Wildwood Forest, Boundary Waters Park is an excellent opportunity for both players and spectators to enjoy America’s number one recreational sport. For soccer fans, the nearby Georgia Soccer Park has leagues for men, women, coed teams, and a variety of programs for children and teens. The park plays host to both recreational and competitive soccer leagues year around. Those interested in track and field will appreciate the Quicksilver Track Club, which is a quick 10 minute drive from the neighborhood.

There are a number of public and private schools within a 15 minute commute of the neighborhood. The public elementary school serving Wildwood Forest is Deerwood Elementary. Children attending grades 6-8 go to Bunch Middle and high school age residents attend D.M. Therrell School for Technology, Engineering, Math, and Science. Private schools in the area include The Swiss School for Trilingual Education and Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy.
