Plaza Terrace Neighborhood in Tampa, FL

Plaza Terrace Neighborhood

Plaza Terrace is located in one of the hottest areas in all of Tampa. Situated south of Hillsborough Avenue, east of Hines Avenue, west of Habana Avenue, and north of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Plaza Terrace is at the pulse of Tampa.

Sports are obviously one of the biggest draws here. Just a couple of miles away from the neighborhood are two of the biggest sports venues in the city of Tampa. Situated just off of Dale Mabry Highway is George Steinbrenner Field, which is the spring training home of the New York Yankees.

Located diagonally across the street from Steinbrenner Field is Raymond James Stadium, which is the home of the National Football League’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Raymond James is also the home stadium for the University of South Florida Bulls football team, which is the largest school in the area.

Across the street from Raymond James Stadium is one of the most popular colleges in the area. Hillsborough Community College is the educational center for thousands of college students and provides the education for many area residents looking to attain an associates degree or certification. Another area college is the Art Institute of Tampa, which is located just off of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, before Dale Mabry Highway.

If travel is important, there couldn’t be a much better location than Plaza Terrace, as Tampa International Airport is located just a few miles away and provides travel throughout the country and the world.

Just south of the airport is one of the most popular shopping destinations in the Tampa region. The international Mall is host to some of the biggest name brands in the country and most recognizable designers as well. The mall is known for mixing high-end goods with more accessible national brands.
