Burnbrook is a quiet community in the Tampa suburb of Carrollwood. Nestled in the 33618 zip code just north of Gunn Highway, this deed-restricted neighborhood is a Tampa treasure. Built in the early 1980s, Burnbrook homes are single-family houses predominately one to one and a half stories high. These homes are built on large lots with majestic trees shading the community. The homes are usually four to five bedrooms and many have pools and extra amenities. Home prices in Burnbrook are stable and are on the upper end for homes in the Carrollwood area.

Burnbrook is close to Carrollwood Village and the small cluster of shops within the village center. With Gunn Highway, Casey Road, and Hudson Lane bordering the community, Burnbrook is close to many other retail shops including the Citrus Park Mall and the Shoppes of Citrus Park. Burnbrook residents can also quickly access the trendy and upscale Westshore Plaza and International Malls. North Dale Mabry Highway, minutes to the east of Burnbrook, can take residents south toward Raymond James Stadium, Legends Field and Downtown Tampa, or north toward the University of South Florida.

Residents of Burnbrook can join the nearby Emerald Greens Golf and Country Club in Carrollwood Village. This Private club allows residents to play golf, tennis, or use the club’s pools and facilities. The Carrollwood Cultural Center, a community center which showcases local and national productions and exhibits, is only five minutes away from the neighborhood.

Gunn Highway leads residents to Busch Gardens and Adventure Island, which offer many specials and passes for Florida residents. The Tampa Museum of Science and Industry with its exhibits and summer programs and the Glazer Children’s Museum are less than thirty minutes from the community. There are many parks in the Carrollwood area close to Burnbrook; however, Carrollwood Recreation Center offers many activities including a baseball field, fishing, and a picnic area.
