Many area businesses display signs cheering on the team and it is common to see an abundance of green and gold throughout the community on game days as residents show their support for the Bulls.

For entertainment, residents have a few options. The first is to take a five-mile trip to Lettuce Lake Park, slightly past the University of South Florida, for a day of canoeing, kayaking, or boating on the Hillsborough River. Another option would be the slightly longer six-mile trip to Busch Gardens off Busch Boulevard for a day of riding roller coasters and enjoying exotic animal displays. The final option would be to take a trip to the Grand Prix of Tampa, which is only about three miles away. Grand Prix of Tampa is a small putt putt golf course with a large go-kart track.
