Located on the northwest outskirts of Jacksonville, Lincoln Villas is a small suburban village in Duval County. Because the community is conveniently situated along the Florida 9A freeway, residents are nine miles from the center of Jacksonville. The area is bordered by the 9A to the north, Old Kings Road to the west, Moncrief Road West to the south, and Sibbald Road to the east.

Students in the region attend schools in neighboring communities, such as Dinsmore Elementary School, Rutledge H. Pearson Elementary, and William Raines High School. The nearest college is Florida State College School of Culinary Arts and Hospitality.

Five miles south is Soutel Drive, a main artery that is home to many shops, restaurants, and other amenities. Also along this road are two of the largest recreation centers in the northwest Jacksonville area. The Charles Clark Park Community Center features a swimming pool, basketball fields, tennis courts, football fields, baseball fields, and a playground for young children. The community center is often used to host community events. Directly adjacent to the park is the Bob Hayes Sports Complex, with multiple soccer fields and picnic facilities.

Just east is Trout River Boulevard, a scenic road that winds along the Trout River tributary and into nearby suburbs of Sherwood Forest and Osceola Forest. Many of the region’s churches are located in this area.

Lincoln Villas is also ideally situated for outdoor activities. Thomas Creek Conservation Area, a wetlands preserve, is a popular place for wildlife viewing and hiking, while Cary State Forest is known for its off-road bicycle trails.

Residents in this community outside of Jacksonville enjoy a small-town feel just minutes from a major metropolitan area.
