Hidden Hills is situated near two important Jacksonville attractions. Nothing remains of the original fort, but there is a near full-scale rendering of the fort along with exhibits and a visitor center. The Jacksonville Arboretum and Gardens features a spectacular variety of North Florida’s flora and fauna on 120 acres of natural preserve. Activities at the Arboretum include guided tours searching for owls and “Full Moon Campfires.” For public recreation, Buck Park at 11128 McCormack Road, named after local Realtor and developer James Buck, features a basketball court, four benches, and playground equipment.
