Glynlea Grove Park Apartments for Rent

Glynlea/Grove Park is located on the southeast side of Jacksonville, Florida. This neighborhood is modest in size and the majority of it is residential. There are a few amenities in and around Glynlea/Grove Park for residents to take advantage of.

There are two parks within walking distance of this area. The first of these is Holiday Hill Park. This park has a walking trail, baseball diamonds, bike paths, and picnic pavilions. Holiday Hill Park is filled with wildlife, vegetation, and fully grown trees. Residents can come here for a day away and know they will have peace and quiet within a fairly busy city. The other park is Glynlea Park. This park is smaller than Holiday Hill, but not by much. Glynlea is a sports park, offering two baseball diamonds and soccer fields. There are a couple picnic tables along with the bleachers from which to view the games on each corresponding field.

Holiday Hill Elementary School is only a few blocks from Glynlea/Grove Park. With the school so close, it makes it very handy for residents with small children to get them to and from school easily.

There is a river that runs near this neighborhood, The St. Johns River. This river provides residents a place to slip their boat or sit on the bank to fish. Many of the houses near or on the river banks have boat slips off of their property, and some do offer rental slips for a minimal price.

U.S. Route 90 is the largest freeway near Glynlea/Grove Park and gives residents quick access to downtown Jacksonville. This freeway is a good alternative to the busier Interstate 95.
