A bit north of The Avenues is The Shoppes at Southside. This modest-sized shopping center has more of a boutique feel to it, with some of the larger retailers appearing, like Best Buy and Sports Authority. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops to please your cravings. If you go a little farther north you will find more stores where you can quickly and happily spend your earnings. Southside Square presents retailers such as Pier One Imports, Target, and Home Goods. Two of the most popular spots to eat in the Avenues area are The Longhorn Steakhouse and the popular 5 Guys Burger and Fries.

Southside Boulevard is the main thoroughfare running through the Avenues. If you continue driving along Southside Boulevard, you will find even more shopping. If you live in Jacksonville and need to buy anything, the Avenues is where you most likely find yourself heading.
