For high school sports enthusiasts, South San Stadium is located on Navajo Street. This stadium offers seating for 7,500 fans.

Not far from this stadium is Southwestern General Hospital. This state-of-the-art facility has 327 beds to serve a variety of health care needs. South San Antonio is also home to the 126 acre campus of Palo Alto Community College. Named as one of the fastest growing colleges in Texas in 1991, this college has moved forward from its incorporation with consistent expansion and growth.
