The San Antonio community of Mission Trace is located immediately north of Vance Jackson Road and just south of the Union Pacific Railroad tracks. Mission Trace lies north of downtown San Antonio, off I-10. Residents enjoy this community due to its peaceful family orientation and private setting.

Students who live in Mission Trace attend schools with excellent ratings. Howsman Elementary School and Hobby Middle School, as well as Our Savior Lutheran School, are conveniently located along Vance Jackson Road.

There are plenty of top-notch hospitals located south of the neighborhood. The biggest is Southwest Texas Medical Center. Transplant, rehabilitation, and surgical hospitals are also located nearby. In terms of access to high-quality medical care, the Mission Trace neighborhood is one of the best in the San Antonio area.

To get out and enjoy nature, residents visit Phil Hardberger Park. This park and conservancy covers more than 300 acreos of what used to be a dairy farm. Its landscapes have been restored to their native state and offer visitors a glance of what San Antonio looked like in days past.
