Gillette Area is a community in southern San Antonio, Texas, less than 15 minutes from the center of the city. This neighborhood is bound by Interstate 410 on the south, South Zarzamora on the west, Commercial Avenue on the east, and West Ansley Boulevard and west Ansley Street on the north. Ramirez Parks is a popular community park on the west side of Gillette Area. There are plenty of commercial offerings near this community, and residents enjoy easy access to the necessities that include a supermarket, pharmacy, and several eateries. Gillette Area is a popular neighborhood among college students and faculty, with the Texas A&M University of San Antonio and Palo Alto Community College situated within walking distance to the west.
