Spring Branch West is a Houston, Texas neighborhood encompassing an area of just over 8.5 square miles. It is bordered by Interstate 10 to the south and Blalock Road to the east. Neuens Road, Hammerly Road and Clay Road map the northern boundaries, and the Addicks Reservoir is at its western edge.

The community primarily consists of single family homes, with some areas designated for light industrial and also commercial use. Scattered smaller areas of Spring Branch West cater to multi-family housing and other use.

Several parks in the area offer neighborhood residents a place to hike, bike, and play. Agnes Moffit Park on Hammerly Boulevard is a popular place for disc golfers to meet. The park hosts eight weeks of league play, in season, on its 18-hole disc golf course. The park’s swimming pool and other recreational activities offer families and friends a place to gather for fun and relaxation. Other neighborhood parks include Haden Park on Witte Road and Nob Hill Park on Timber Oak.

Spring Branch West is also home to the internationally known school of ballet, City Ballet of Houston, located on Long Point Road. Students of this school are trained from pre-school all the way through to the professional level. A number of world-class professional companies hold annual auditions for its members. The school presents class demonstrations throughout the year for family and friends, plus an annual production of The Nutcracker that students ages six and above may audition for.
