Sharpstown Neighborhood

Sharpstown is a richly diverse neighborhood in southeast Houston, Texas. It is located between Gessner Drive and Fondren Road, 11 miles from downtown. This planned community was developed in the 1950s and many of the original bungalows still exist, along with modern and traditional styles. This area contains several shopping districts, a large park, and close proximity to many of Houston’s attractions.

Sharpstown Park Golf Course is a popular, 18-hole municipal golf course. This park includes putting greens, a driving cage, a pro shop, and a cafe. Lessons are also available. Sharpstown is near Houston Baptist University and the PlazAmericas Shopping Center, a large indoor center with over 300 stores, a play area, and a marketplace.
