Lynwood / Willow Walk / Oakcrest is a neighborhood in Charleston, South Carolina. Located on James Island, this a residential neighborhood. The borders of the neighborhood are Secessionville Road on the east, Fort Johnson Road on the south, Pauline Avenue on the west, and Camp Road on the north. Quiet streets lined with trees make this an attractive neighborhood. There are some palm trees mixed in with live oaks.

The homes are slightly older, and not as large as some newer homes, but the mix of styles and sizes adds to the charm of the area. The majority of the homes are single-family, one-story detached homes on average-sized yards.

St. James Presbyterian Church is located within walking distance from the neighborhood. This is an active church community which provides a variety of ministries for members to participate in. Nursery is provided during services. They are particularly known for their wonderful choirs. Harborlight Baptist Church is located very near this neighborhood. They have an active children’s and youth ministry and have recently unveiled a new Youth Center.

Stephen Washington Park is just east of the neighborhood. The eight-acre park is a great place to take a walk in the shade provided by the trees, and to enjoy bird watching. It also has a baseball field, a playground, and picnic tables.

Where Folly Brook Road and Fort Johnson Road meet, there is a shopping plaza. Residents can do their grocery shopping here at the Food Lion, and there is also a Dollar Tree in addition to other stores, services, and restaurants.

James Island County Park is the home of the Low Country Cajun Festival. This is a yearly event, and for one day, all things Cajun come to James Island, including Zydeco Music, and lots of Cajun cuisine. The park is located on Riverland Drive.
