The Creek Point neighborhood is located on the southwest side of Charleston, less than 15 minutes from the downtown area. It is bounded by the creek on the north and east and roughly bordered by Camp Road on the south and Maplecrest Drive and Held Circle on the west.

This South Carolina community is primarily residential. Some town homes can also be found on the south side of the community. James Island Middle School is just outside neighborhood bounds on the southwest, easily within walking distance.

This side of the city is mostly residential, but several commercial offerings exist in the surrounding area, among them popular retailers and eateries. There are also several shopping centers within a short drive from home, including Merchants Village, Island Plaza, and Meyer Park Plaza Shopping Center. Residents enjoy easy access to the necessities, including a supermarket and several gas stations.

For recreation and fitness, residents of Creek Point can frequent the nearby James Island Recreation Complex, situated approximately a mile to the east. This complex is home to the Charleston Gymnastics Center, but it also hosts plenty of other organized sports and wellness activities, including basketball, volleyball, aerobics, and yoga. This community is just a few miles from the Charleston Harbor, which offers various opportunities for outdoor recreation.
