Riverview Park is a community in Tulsa, Oklahoma, that has many family amenities. The Youth at Heart Inc. Riverview Park Recreation Center hosts numerous educational, social, and recreational activities for the community. It provides tutoring, character training, youth mentoring, health and fitness, sports leagues, summer camps, community services, and much more.
River Park West Trails comprises 20 miles of paved trails along the Arkansas River that can be accessed from Riverview Park. The community is on the east and west banks of the Arkansas River, and is conveniently near activities and other communities in Tulsa. Residents can fish at Zink Dam and go kayaking at Tulsa Wave, both of which are part of River Park. Along the banks are playgrounds, park benches, and picnic tables.
The Tulsa Rowing Club, also a part of Riverview Park, is on the west bank of the river, in River West Festival Park. The club offers rowing for all ages.
One of Oklahoma State University’s campuses is only one minute away from Riverview Park. The community has very nice apartment complexes that are popular among college students and others.
Tulsa’s Oklahoma Aquarium offers residents and visitors a spectacular tour of ocean life. The largest bull sharks in captivity can be seen at the aquarium by taking a walk through a tunnel. On the walk, visitors can see all kinds of fascinating creatures, including jellyfish, seahorses, and eels. Guest can feed and even touch stingrays and small sharks. Other critters that can be spotted here include river otters, beavers, and raccoons.
