The Tulsa Garden Center, inside Woodward Park, features a horticulture library inside a historic mansion. Free guided tours show off the home, the 4.5-acre internationally known Municipal Rose Garden, specialty gardens, an arboretum, and the many fountains and pools.
Recreational opportunities can be found at nearby Rivers Parks, on the Arkansas River. Its biking and jogging paths, playground, and open green spaces along the river offer a welcome respite from everyday life.
