O’connor Park Apartments for Rent

The O’Connor Park community is in the eastern portion of Tulsa. The area provides a well-planned mix of residential and business sections, with homes having ample lot space that eliminates the common city feeling of crowding.

The neighborhood is west of the junction of Interstate 44 and Route 169, the Mingo Valley Expressway. Route 169 intersects with Interstate 244 and provides residents with easy access for business and recreational needs. The Tulsa International Airport is to the north of O’Connor Park, above Interstate 244. Mohawk Park and Lake Yahola are northwest of the airport.

South Memorial Drive creates the western border, and East 15th is the northern boundary for this Oklahoma community. East 21st Street is the southern boundary, and South 89th East Avenue creates most of the eastern border. The majority of the residential portion is on the eastern side of the neighborhood, with business developments toward the west.

Florence Park is between East 17th and East 19th Streets. Two ball fields are on East 17th Street at South 85th East Avenue. Skelly Park is to the south, right above Interstate 44. McClure Park is northwest, between South Memorial Drive and South 73rd East Avenue. The JD Metcalfe Recreation Area and Mingo Creek are within walking distance of the O’Connor Park neighborhood.

The Tulsa State Fairgrounds are west of the O’Connor Park community at South Yale Avenue, between East 15th and East 21st Streets. The Memorial Oaks Development Shopping Center is just outside the community, at the southern border of East 21st Street. Hilltop Shopping Center and Leisure Lane Shopping Center are to the west, along South Sheridan Road. Public transportation is available throughout the city.
