Braniff Hills is an affluent residential neighborhood of Tulsa with well-maintained homes on wide, tree-lined streets and expansive, modern apartment buildings with landscaped grounds. Braniff Hills is close to the Tulsa Garden Center in historic Woodward Park. The charm, elegance, and craftsmanship of the original 1921 Italianate-style villa still remain. The 13-acre estate was sold to the city in 1954. It hosts 30 organizations that offer horticultural and environmental activities. Its 5,000-volume horticultural library is considered one of the best in the region, and is used by students and gardeners. Since 1954, over a million people from the United States and around the world have visited the center.

The nearby 84-acre Tulsa Zoo and Living Museum provides education and entertainment for the entire family. Over 2,800 animals are on exhibit, including rare and exotic species from all over the planet. Education classes are held at Helmerich Discovery Center.
