Woodstream is a neighborhood in northeast Columbus, within Franklin County. The community is just southeast of the intersection of Interstate 270 and Highway 161 and northwest of Sunbury Road. Woodstream is the in 43230 ZIP code.

Directly east of the Woodstream neighborhood is the Blendon Woods Metropolitan Park. This city park is large and features Thoreau Pond. However, this land is largely undeveloped and doesn’t include many amenities.

Several golf courses are also situated within a short distance of Woodstream. To the west, on the other side of I-270, are the Minerva Lakes Golf Club and Champions Golf Course. Closer to home, just north of Highway 161, is the Little Turtle Golf Course. Overlooking Lake Turtle and situated along Big Walnut Creek, this scenic private course is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon. This championship 18-hole course was designed by Pete Dye and is quite affordable for a private club. A variety of additional golf courses can be found within a five-mile radius of Woodstream, making this an ideal neighborhood for any avid golfer.

For area shopping, Woodstream residents head just a mile or so west along I-270 to Easton Square Shopping Center and Easton Town Center. The latter is one of the area’s larger retail centers. This beautiful upscale shopping center offers a long list of specialty stores anchored by a Macy’s and Nordstrom. Dining options include a Panera Bread, Chipotle, The Cheesecake Factory, and P.F. Chang’s China Bistro. There are also a Life Time Fitness center, apartment living, and office complexes nearby.

Within 10 miles immediately south of the Woodstream neighborhood is the Port Columbus International Airport. West of the airport is the downtown area and The Ohio State University campus. The downtown area offers a variety of cultural attractions and entertainment options, including Huntington Park, the Columbus Metropolitan Library, the Ohio Theatre, and the Supreme Court of Ohio.
