Baseball fans enjoy cheering on the Columbus Clippers at Huntington Park.

The Arena District is also an entertainment area. Live entertainment, restaurants, and a movie theater keep it lively regardless of the season. The 200-year old Brewery District is another neighborhood entertainment scene, with plenty of bars and restaurants. Southtop Hilltop residents also enjoy nearby Scioto Audubon Park, a great outdoor recreation spot along the river.

Other outdoor activities are available year round at Battelle-Darby Creek Metropark. From fishing and canoeing during the warm months to sledding, skating, and cross-country skiing during the winter, it’s a popular place close to home.

Franklin University, less than five miles away, offers undergraduate and graduate degrees. The Columbus Metropolitan Library is across the street from the university. A number of transit stops along Sullivant Avenue make these and other locations accessible.

Many residents enjoy the Phoenix Golf Links and Three Rivers Park, with access to the Ohio to Erie Trail. A number of shopping centers serve this densely populated southwestern Columbus neighborhood. Three Walmart Supercenters are located within 10 miles of the neighborhood, with the closest to the southwest, at Georgesville Road.
