Polaris South Neighborhood

Polaris South is a commercial neighborhood north of downtown Columbus Ohio and directly south of the Polaris North neighborhood. This neighborhood is convenient to downtown Columbus on the I-71.

The borders of the Polaris South neighborhood are Gemini Place and Polaris Parkway on the north, I-71 on the east, South Old State Road on the west and Lazelle Road on the south. The zip code is 43240.

The majority if the neighborhood is made up of commercial enterprises. Along the south near Lazelle Road, there are several neighborhoods of both single family detached homes and condos. There is also one small cluster of houses to the west of South Old State Road. The homes in this neighborhood were all built within the last ten years.

Shopping is one thing that the Polaris South neighborhood has in abundance. Polaris Fashion Place and Polaris Towne Center Shopping Center are both located here. There is a Kroger Grocery Store on Polaris Parkway. Just north in the Polaris North neighborhood there is a Costco. Polaris Fashion Place offers 150 retailers including JC Penney, Sears, Finish Line, Macy’s, Barnes & Noble, Bare Escentuals, Coach, Coldwater Creek, J.Crew and Pottery Barn Kids. There are also a nice selection of restaurants including Benihana, Subway, and Dave and Busters.

Polaris Towne Center Shopping Center has a few popular retailers as well, including Target, TJ Maxx, Best Buy, Old Navy, Lowes, JoAnn Fabric and Office Max.
