North Campus Apartments for Rent

The North Campus neighborhood in Columbus is in the University District and is bordered by North High Street and West Lane Avenue. The Ohio State University borders the neighborhoods on the north and west sides. The community is comprised of mostly apartment buildings, with a small number of houses. The Olentangy River passes the neighborhood on its west side.

Residents are within walking distance of Tuttle Park and Recreation Center. This park and recreation center is located next to Ohio State and borders the Olentangy River. It has both soccer and baseball fields, as well as tennis courts. There is plenty of room for running or an evening stroll. Park patrons also have access to a picnic pavilion and barbecue area. The recreation center has a community pool and offers an array of classes such as ceramics.

A local landmark is the Union Cemetery. This historic 128-acre cemetery contains graves created as far back as the 1600s. The Jack Nicklaus Museum is located a few blocks west of the community, in the heart of the Ohio State University sports complex. The museum is more than 24,000 square feet in size.

Hospitals near the North Campus community are the Riverside Methodist Hospital and the Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The Port Columbus International Airport serves the community.

Local public schools are the Upper Arlington High School, Columbus Alternative High School, Linden-McKinley High School, Mifflin High School, and Como Elementary School.

Shopping malls in the surrounding area are the Westland Mall, the Easton Town Center, and the Macy’s Kingsdale Center Mall.
