Easton is a part of the Greater Columbus Area in Columbus, Ohio. Easton is bounded by Sunbury Road to the east, Interstate 71 to the west, McCutcheon Road to the south, and Morse Road to the north. The homes in the Easton area are varied in price. Newer homes in the Easton Oval can run to as much as 200 percent of the median for the area and are in less traveled neighborhoods. Some of the older homes are priced more modestly, but have unique charm and a great location for interstate access.
One of the crown jewels of the Easton neighborhood is the Easton Town Center, a retail complex with upscale shopping, dining, and apartment living. The Easton Town Center has an indoor shopping mall, and outdoor promenades with shopping and dining, as well as fountains that children, and adults, can play in. Easton Town Center holds family events like outdoor movie night, and Christmas tree lighting ceremonies yearly.
Golf in Columbus is seasonal, but the season is as long as the weather permits and Easton residents can get to their choice of courses in just minutes. Champions Golf Club, at 3900 Westerville Road, is a challenging municipal course, originally built as a country club and designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Minerva Lake Golf Course, at 2955 Minerva Lake Rd, is known for the “front 10, back 8” design. For the residents with the means and desire, The New Albany Country Club is just up the road, at 1 Club Lane, New Albany, and has all the country club amenities and a breathtaking course design.
Along Sunbury Road you will find soccer fields, and indoor soccer complex, and an ice rink for skating and extensive hockey leagues for all ages. The Alum Creek Multi-use trail runs along Sunbury Road for biking, hiking, running and walking.
