The boundaries of the Busch neighborhood make it incredibly convenient to all the attractions of greater Columbus, as well as the many recreational opportunities a short drive from the city. The northern boundary of Busch is I-270, and the eastern boundary is I-71. East Dublin Granville Road forms the south boundary, while Huntley Road provides the west boundary.
The Busch neighborhood is composed of single- and multi-family dwellings from low- to moderately-priced. The homes are well-cared for and attractive. There are a number of condos, townhomes, and apartment complexes. It is primarily an area of mixed retailers, small independent businesses, service industries, and apartment complexes.
Two public parks dominate the area just north of Busch, Sharon Woods Metropolitan and Highbanks. Highbanks is sometimes referred to as the best park in Columbus because of the opportunity to explore the rugged woodland trails and great nature center. However, both parks are popular with locals for recreation and natural beauty.
A short drive north along I-71 is Alum Creek State Park, a great place for outdoor recreational activities such as camping, boating, fishing, and swimming. Hoover Reservoir is about as close, just a bit east of Alum.
As with most neighborhoods in Columbus, a golf course is never far away. Both public courses and private country clubs provide challenges for all players. Some of the private clubs are also quite historic, such as Scioto, York Temple, and Brookside.
Plenty of small retail areas are nearby, but for destination shopping and dining, it’s hard to beat the new and trendy Easton Town Center. Top national retailers include notable ones such as Tiffany and Coach, as well as popular department stores like Macy’s and Nordstrom. Some of the nation’s most popular eateries are located at Easton, too.
