Cranbrook Neighborhood

Getting to Cranbrook is easy as there is access through three separate highways including Interstate 270, highway 315 and highway 33. Estimated median house/condo value in 2009 was $247,883 while in the state of Ohio it was $134,000. Cranbrook is located in Franklin County in Ohio and is a neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio.

The boundaries of Cranbrook are adjacent to the main campus of Ohio State University but there are several buildings from the University that are within the limits of Cranbrook. The first is Mount Hall which is Kent State University’s School of Library and Information Science. The second is Scott Hall which houses the Byrd Polar Research Center. Rightmire Hall is the Biotechnology Center for Ohio State University and the other two are Bevis Hall and Pressey Hall which house the college of engineering and the learning resources center respectively.

Other educational opportunities include a number of schools. The community of Cranbrook has 4 primary schools, 1 middle school, 2 high schools and one other school.

Recreational opportunities include Scioto Golf Course and several parks for a total of 6 in the community. Another opportunity which is a tourist attraction is Capital City Tours. Additionally there are two churches of different denominations located within the community.

This shopping center is adjacent to the Cranbrook community.
