North of the neighborhood is one of the largest country clubs in the surrounding area. The Brier Creek Country Club is home to Brier Creek Golf Course, which is popular with many area residents. The club also has a nice tennis program with numerous courts. These courts are often used for training, league play, and of course tournaments as well. Area shopping can easily be done to the north, off of Brier Creek Parkway. This is where several major retailers are located, including a Wal-Mart Super Center, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Kohl’s, just to name a few.
