The Carolina Country Club, an award-winning country club at the national level, is just a few minutes north of the neighborhood. The Raleigh Country Club is south of Glascock Saint Duplex. Since it is a bit smaller than the other clubs in the area, it provides a more intimate experience than what members might find at a larger club.

One of Raleigh’s favorite pastimes involves North Carolina State University. Since the university is a member of the Atlantic Coastal Conference, the community is able to enjoy a variety of competitive sports such as football and basketball. The university constantly rivals popular schools of its division, among them the University of Miami; Florida State University; and, of course, the University of North Carolina.
