Druid Hills North Neighborhood

The Druid Hills North neighborhood is located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Due to its close proximity to the interstate, it is in a great location with respect to food, shopping, and entertainment. It is close to the epicenter of Charlotte without being too close and it provides opportunities to branch out into other communities in North Carolina.

Druid Hills North has easy access to a myriad of different shopping complexes that provide many different shopping experiences and allows people to fulfill whatever shopping need they may have. The Boulevard at NoDa is nestled within the arts district of Charlotte and is host to many different artsy vendors that you wouldn’t find in a conventional shopping complex. The shops here sell a wide variety of items ranging from clothing and jewelry to sculptures and photographs.

The Northlake Mall is a widely popular mall in the area that features 150 stores to meet your shopping needs. Northlake has big name department stores such as Dillard’s, Macy’s, and Belk. The mall also has a 14-screen cinema and a Looney Toons Play Area.

Druid Hills North is also close to the NorthStone Country Club. NorthStone has been voted one of the area’s best country clubs and has numerous features including a golf course. The golf course at NorthStone is a premier golf course that has 18 holes beautifully designed for a perfect golf experience.

NorthStone also has a state of the art golf studio that helps golfers reach their full potential with the help of instructors. The country club is also host to tennis programs with a tennis professional on staff to help people improve. Other activities at the NorthStone Country Club involve swimming, dining, aerobics, and fitness. The fitness center is fully equipped and offers a creche for kids.
