The neighborhood of Cobbs Hill is situated in the southeast sector of Rochester. Through the efforts of this tight-knit community, the neighborhood remains among the most coveted in Rochester. Although Rochester is only minutes away, residents of Cobbs Hill enjoy many amenities within their own neighborhood. Shopping and dining is within walking distance of the neighborhood on nearby East, Monroe, and Park Avenues.
Beautiful parks are another attractive selling point for the neighborhood. Children are often found playing at Washington Grove, a magnificent 17-acre wooded park. Cobbs Hill Park is positioned on the west side of Cobbs Hill and boasts ball fields and a playground. The park, with its skyline views, is a favorite among bikers and runners, as well as a gathering spot for community events.
Many residents enjoy amenities at the nearby elite Oak Hills Country Club and Country Club of Rochester.
Martin Anderson School is located within the neighborhood. Several private schools are also near the neighborhood. The noted University of Rochester is also conveniently located just a few miles west of Cobbs Hill.
