There are several golf courses in the area, including Locust Hill Country Club, the host of the annual Wegmans LPGA Tournament. Other clubs include Oak Hill Country Club, Shadow Pines Country Club, and Irondequoit Country Club.

The Blue Cross Arena offers several fun and interesting venues throughout the year, from Rochester Americans hockey games to concerts. Frontier Field is the place to go to see the Rochester Redwings play baseball. Ralph Wilson Stadium, home to the NFL Buffalo Bills team, is just over an hour’s drive away in Buffalo, New York.
