Triangle Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
The neighborhood of Triangle lays in the upper northern part of the city of Buffalo and is primarily home to single-family and multi-family residences. Triangle is bordered on various sides by other neighborhoods in the Buffalo area, including Valley to the north, Abbott McKinley to the east, and Seneca to the northeast.
Triangle has many things to do and see in its vicinity. Culturally speaking, there are a number of nice museums to check out in the area. Among the more interesting ones are the Buffalo Transportation Museum, the Buffalo Fire Historical Society, and the Buffalo Naval Yard, which exhibits wartime memorabilia and equipment. If nature is more appealing, then a trip to the Botanical Gardens at South Park can be a very nice excursion.
Another popular location is the Tifft Nature Preserve, where residents can enjoy an unabashed view of natural beauty. There is also a golf course relatively close by, Cazenovia Park, where golfers can get out and shoot 18 holes in a lovely setting. Parks are also plentiful in the area, with MLK Park, Schiller, Heacock, and Cazenovia all providing plenty of green space. Cazenovia even offers an ice rink in the winter months.
The school situation in Triangle is a unique one. All of the public elementary schools in the area continue through 8th grade, so there is not a separate middle school. The elementary/middle school combination schools are PS 69 Houghton Academy, South Buffalo Charter School, Lorraine, and Southside. For high schools, there are two choices: South Park and Lackawanna.
Shopping is available at big-name stores around the neighborhood and at the area’s two malls, Abbott Road Plaza and Main Place Mall.
