Canisius College - Buffalo, NY
The campus of Canisius College, a private college founded in 1870, is unique – it rests on top of a web of tunnels. The tunnels help keep students out of the cold winters common in this part of Western New York. Canisius College is affiliated with the Roman Catholic church and is named for St. Peter Canisius. The 72-acre, urban campus is located in Buffalo, New York.
Offering over 100 majors, minors, and special programs, Canisius is considered one of the top regional colleges and was listed at number seven in US News & World Report‘s “Great Schools at Great Prices” for 2014.
The Canisius College Golden Griffins compete in 17 sports, including basketball, soccer, hockey, baseball, and lacrosse. They are part of NCAA Division I as members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). The men’s hockey team won the Atlantic Hockey Championship in 2013, and the women’s lacrosse team won the MACC Championships for the third year in a row in 2013.
To find your apartment near Canisius College, look in Downtown Buffalo, especially on the northeast side. Canisius College is located adjacent to Delaware Park and south of the State University at Buffalo School of Medicine. Neighborhoods in the area include Hamlin Park, Cold Springs, Leroy, Albright, and Elmwood Village.

About Our Deals
Apartment Finder utilizes the industry's largest and most complete database of real-time rents and availabilities to help you find an amazing deal on your next rental.
Price Drop
Apartment communities change their rental rates often - sometimes multiple times a day. We track the changes and keep you up to date when a rental rate decreases.
Best Value
"Best value" units are located in buildings rated three stars or higher. We label apartment rentals that are priced significantly less than similar high-quality units nearby.
Rent Specials
Apartment communities regularly advertise deals for new residents. Whether it's a move-in special or a free tv, we locate the rentals that offer a little something extra when you sign your lease.
Note: Based on community-supplied data and independent market research. Subject to change without notice.
