Rancho Oakey is a neighborhood in northeastern Las Vegas. It is bounded by Interstate 15 on the north, West Sahara Avenue on the south, South Valley View Boulevard on the west, and South Martin L. King Boulevard on the east.

As part of the Las Vegas metropolitan area, the Rancho Oakey community has its own share of hotels and casinos, like the Davinci Suites along West Sahara Avenue and the Indian Springs Casino along South Tonopah Drive. It is also a stone’s throw away from the Palace Station Hotel and Casino along West Sahara Avenue, the Hilton Grand Vacations along South Grand Central Parkway, and the Vagabond Inn along Westwood Drive.

Westward from Rancho Oakey, residents have easy access to the Springs Preserve, a top tourist and local destination dedicated to nature walks and trails meandering through a wetland habitat, colorful desert botanical gardens, and museum galleries. It also features a historic photo gallery, outdoor concert and event venues, and an indoor theater. Locals have easy access to the Goldwell Open Air Museum and the Baskin Park, both located within the neighborhood as well.

Restaurants and coffee shops around the Rancho Oakey neighborhood are mostly situated along South Rancho Drive and West Charleston Boulevard, and include Blue Sky Restaurant, Sonic Drive-In, Las Gorditas, Aristocrat Fine Dining, Jimmy John’s, Mix Zone Café, Omelet House, Great Wall Chinese Restaurant, Port of Subs, Starbucks, and Dunkin’ Donuts. Bars are mostly situated around the Charleston area, where you’ll find Frankie’s Bar and Cocktail Lounge and Cellar Lounge.

Rancho Oakey is a few minutes away from hospitals and medical facilities, including University Medical Center, Valley Hospital Medical Center, Horizon Specialty Hospital, Las Vegas Surgery Center, Las Vegas Dialysis Center, and UMC Total Life Care.

Aside from about half a dozen each of elementary, middle school, and high school institutions around Rancho Oakey, Kaplan College is also found within the neighborhood bounds. About a dozen churches and dozens of banks are located in the vicinity as well.
