Ventura Village is a nice, quiet neighborhood in Minneapolis, Minn. It is located far enough outside of the downtown area and is not affected by it the city. It is still close enough, however, to be able to enjoy the many activities within Minneapolis.
The neighborhood is in a great location, as it is near plenty of parks, making them easily accessible to residents of the Ventura Village neighborhood. The plethora of churches in and around the neighborhood makes it easy for residents to find a place of worship that suits their needs.
Residents of the Ventura Village neighborhood have easy access to many higher education opportunities in the surrounding area. North Central University is just north of the neighborhood and is a great location for those who want to beef up their resume with a bit more college history or take on a few extra classes for fun. The Minneapolis Institute of Arts is just to the west of the neighborhood and provides residents of the neighborhood with a place where they can learn a new trade and pick up a new hobby.
Plenty of parks are located in the surrounding area, making it easy for the people of Ventura Village to enjoy the nature that is lacking within the city. Peavey Park is a nice park that is perfect for recreational activities. Many different sports, including baseball, tennis, and basketball, can be played there. It also has plenty of room for a relaxing walk or a nice picnic. Stewart Park is another great park in the area. It has a nice baseball field, but also has plenty of room for relaxation. The open area within the park is great for a relaxing picnic or a nice game of Frisbee.
