Fort Bragg Area Apartment Housing(hide military information)
Sprawling over 251 acres, Fort Bragg is one of the larger Army installations. It is located in North Carolina in northwestern Fayetteville. Fort Bragg is home to the US Army airborne Forces and Special Forces, the US Army Forces Command, and the US Army Reserve Command. The base was established in 1918 and is named for Confederate general Braxton Bragg, a North Carolina native who died in 1876.
Named an All-America City, Fayetteville is indeed beautiful, located in the Sandhills on Cape Fear River. Time Magazine named it “America’s Most Pro-Military Town” in 2008. Fayetteville’s charm includes historic architecture, such as that found in Heritage Square. The Square includes the 1797 Sandford House, the 1818 Oval Ballroom, and the 1804 Nimocks House.
When searching for your Fort Bragg area apartment, look in Fayetteville’s northwestern neighborhoods, such as Westover, Eutaw, Seventy-First, Jack Britt, and Rockfish. North of the base, the towns of Spring Lake, Vass, and Manchester are also great locations for your Fort Bragg area apartment.
