The Woodland Hills community is located in DeKalb County, offering relatively easy access to the Downtown Atlanta area. Woodland Hills’ boundaries are defined by LaVista Road on the north, the CSX railway line to the south, the border of DeKalb County on the west, and Briarcliff Road on the east.

In addition to walking trails, open green spaces, and playgrounds, the park also houses both the city Zoo and the Atlanta Cyclorama.
Grant Park has the distinction of being the largest park in Atlanta, making the area a highly desirable community for homeowners. A number of smaller parks also dot the community, including Benteen Park and Jacci Fuller Woodland Garden Park, offering shaded walking trails and playgrounds for children of varying ages.
