Princeton Lakes is a large community that is north of Atlanta. While parts of the neighborhood are financially diverse, it’s primarily an upper class community.

The Archibald Smith Plantation Home is four miles northeast of Princeton Lakes. It’s a preserved, historical landmark, a plantation that was built in 1845. Archibald Smith was one of the founders of the Roswell community that it lies within, and the plantation was restored in 1940 and ultimately sold to the city as a landmark that attracts people from all over the greater Atlanta area and history buffs around the country.

The Teaching Museum North is less than four miles northeast of the community and offers rotating and permanent exhibits as well as special educational programs for children and teens. Roswell Fire Museum, East Cobb Children’s Museum, Bulloch Hall, and Williams Payne House are within a four-mile radius of Princeton Lakes.

Princeton Lakes is a very family-friendly community. The well-reviewed Mt. Bethel Elementary School is located within the community. Other schools that are known for high scholastic achievements within the greater community include East Cobb Christian School, Dickerson Middle School, and the Wood Acres School.

The affluent community is in proximity to many specialized studios and schools for hobbies and after-school intersts of area children. East Cobb Stables, which houses horses and offers riding lessons, is located within walking distance to the northwest of Princeton Lakes. Dance Stop Studios is a dance school that gets high ratings, and offers lessons in other work out routines as well, such as Yoga and Zumba.
