Bolton Hills Apartments for Rent

Bolton Hills is a neighborhood in Atlanta, located to the south of Bolton Road, east of Interstate 285, and west of James Jackson Parkway. The area is surrounded by numerous train tracks that are used on a regular basis.

The Bolton Hills neighborhood is also surrounded by numerous parks, providing a wide variety of recreation. North of the neighborhood off of Wales Avenue is Whittier Mills Park. This modest park has a large field that is often used by area youth for football, soccer, and other activities. Off of Bolton Road to the northeast is another park and the local area YMCA. Chattahoochee Park is much like Whittier Mills Park, with simply an open space for children to come up with their own entertainment. To the south off of Williams Drive is AD Williams Park. This park has an actual playground and fields that are made for soccer and football. The fields are often used for area youth leagues. It also has a basketball court.

Most of the jobs in the general Bolton Hills area are related to the major industry surrounding the neighborhood. Due to the major train traffic and shipping yards in the area, many industries have popped up around the area as well. Most of the residents in the area are employed directly through industry or work for companies that provide services to those industries.

Numerous Christian-based churches are located throughout the area. First Baptist Church, off of Bolton Road, is easily the largest in the immediate area. Numerous other denominations surround the neighborhood. Also throughout the area are several schools, including Scott Elementary, off of Browntown Road, and Williams Elementary, off of James Jackson Parkway.
