Mandolin Apartments for Rent
The Mandolin neighborhood is a very private area of luxury homes. The gated community north of Citrus Park Drive features estate homes with all the amenities one expects to find in an exclusive neighborhood. The multi-family homes south of Citrus Park Drive are equally luxurious, with a resort feel. Citrus Park Drive ends just east of the neighborhood at Deer Park Elementary School. Mandolin lies east of Countryway Boulevard.
While residents enjoy a secluded neighborhood, there are many amenities close by. The new Upper Tampa Bay Regional Public Library is less than a mile away. A large grocery store and several restaurants are nearby.
Mandolin is also quite close to a top golf course, The Eagles Golf Club. With 36 holes, The Eagles is famous for the diversity of its two courses, Forest Course and Lake Course. This membership club frequently hosts corporate and charity events.
The Eagles Golf Course is near Booker Creek Preserve, an important recreational and conservation area. The Preserve is a wonderful place for hiking, with four miles of trails through 8,500 acres of wilderness. Guided tours and special events are available at scheduled times. The 6,000-square-foot education center provides hands on displays, programs, and a research center.
For a Gulf of Mexico retreat, Honeymoon Island State Recreation Center is about 12 miles away. The Island is a prime location for shell collecting. There are several trails here, as well as mangrove swamps and tidal flats. Swimming, fishing, and snorkeling are other favorite activities.
The National Historic District of Ybor City is 13 miles away. A mile south of Ybor City is the Channel District, Tampa Aquarium, and St. Pete Times Forum, home of the Tampa Bay Lightning NHL team. The Forum also hosts concerts and family events.
