Cedar Creek at Country Run is a small residential neighborhood located in the Citrus Park area, within the Tampa Bay area. The average family income in the area is $79,000 per year, with an average detached home value of $245,000. Most of the homes in Cedar Creek were built in the 1980s and 1990s.
The Cedar Creek neighborhood is actually three separate housing groups located south of Cedar Creek Boulevard, east of Henderson Road, and west of Anderson Road. The closest major roadway is Gunn Highway, located just a short distance to the north and connected by Henderson Road and Anderson Road.
Shopping in the area can be done within about a mile of Cedar Creek. The closest shopping is the Publix Super Market located off of Anderson Road. A CVS Pharmacy is located across the street. For a little more variety, Wal-Mart and Walgreen’s are located just off of Gunn Highway, within a mile of Cedar Creek. The best shopping, however, is about two or three miles to the west on Gunn Highway at the Citrus Park Town Center Mall.
The Citrus Park Town Center Mall is one of the more popular shopping destinations in the area, with many major national brands. Some of these brands include Macy’s, Rack Room Shoes, Dillard’s, Children’s Place, Zales, Gymboree, and a wide variety of other shops to meet the interests of most anyone. Also located in the mall is the Regal Cinemas Citrus Park Stadium 20. This movie theater is a popular stop for Cedar Creek at Country Run residents and a popular hangout for area teenagers. Across the street from the mall is the Plaza at Citrus Park, which offers numerous other name brand retailers that complement the mall.
