JR Alford Greenway, located near Piney Z Lake is another great area to get out and enjoy nature. Activities here include backpacking, hiking, horseback riding, guided tours, children’s activities, picnicking, biking, nature viewing, and miles of nature trails for walking or jogging.

To the west of Rockbrook Village lies yet another park, Governor’s Park as well as Governor’s Square Mall. This mall is home to some of the best shopping, dining, and entertainment in the Tallahassee area. Anchor stores include Dillard’s, JCPenney, Macy’s, and Sears. Over one hundred specialty stores, as well as movie theaters, and tempting restaurants such as Romano’s Macaroni Grill, make Governor’s Square Mall a delightful choice to spend a Saturday afternoon.
