Live Oak Hills is a neighborhood located in the Florida capital of Tallahassee, and is primarily comprised of brick homes and townhomes built during the latter part of the 80s. The community is located east and north of Blair Stone Road, south of Old Saint Augustine Road, and west of Capital Circle Southeast.

The home sites are wooded with cooling shade trees, such as oaks, cottonwoods, red buckeyes, and hickories. On warm Tallahassee days, the scent of orange blossom perfumes the air, and brightly colored zinnias and carnations border the front of properties. The shopping center plays host to such exclusive retailers as Macy’s, Dillard’s, and Abercrombie and Fitch. Shoppers can shop all day at the facility as there are over 100 retailers in the two-story complex.

Lake Bradford is another favorite recreational site and provides residents with the opportunity to enjoy a quiet day on the water kayaking or bass fishing. Nature trails give birders a chance to catch glimpses of rare birds, such as the bald eagle or the snowy egret.
