Woodland Drive, which is the namesake of the neighborhood, serves as its southern border, while the northern border of the neighborhood is marked by a few smaller, local streets.

Baars Park is a 13.3-acre park within walking distance of Woodland Heights, about a half-mile from the community. The much smaller H.K. In addition to being ideally located for nature lovers, Woodland Heights is located near many important landmarks, shopping centers and even the local airport. Cordova Mall, a shopping haven with major stores like Dillard’s, is within walking distance of the neighborhood to its northeast.

The Anna Lamar Switzer Visual Center, a local museum, is a little over a mile northeast of the community. The Pensacola Museum of Art, which attracts visitors from all over the greater area, including nearby states like Alabama, is less than four miles south of the neighborhood. Renaissance Man, a sculpture museum, is two miles southwest of Woodland Heights.
