Also, Pensacola Square, an affluent shopping center popular with locals, is less than two miles southeast of Willow Tree Acres. Two of the most popular malls in Pensacola, University Mall and Cordova Mall, are within a three-mile radius of the neighborhood.

Willow Tree Acres is a very family-friendly community. Quality, readily available schools are big draws for parents interested in the neighborhood. Lincoln Park Elementary School, which is lauded for its Head Start program, is about a mile and a half west of the community.

In addition to several top-tier area schools serving the neighborhood, there are also many specialized schools where young residents can pursue after-school interests and hobbies. The Five Flags Dance Academy is a little more than a mile east of the community. In His Steps, a Christian-themed dance school, is only two miles northwest of the neighborhood. Karate For Kids is under three miles southeast of Willow Tree Acres.

Sacred Heart Medical Park, a well-rated local medical center, is about two and a half miles southeast of the neighborhood. It’s affiliated with the nearby Sacred Heart Hospital of Pensacola. It’s well known for its courteous staff and ease in appointment making, as well as a high quality of medical care.
