White Cedar Gardens is a large neighborhood located approximately 7 miles north of downtown Pensacola, Florida in Escambia County. Situated in the 32514 zip code area, White Cedar Gardens is encompassed by Cody Lane to the west, East Johnson Avenue to the north, Whitmire Drive to the east and East Olive Road to the south.

Many of the homes within White Cedar Gardens are newer single-family dwellings of brick exterior. The neighborhood is neatly landscaped with large trees dotting the streets and yards. Some of the area around Black Walnut Trail is still being developed. Other neighborhoods in the vicinity of White Cedar Gardens include Grand Cedars Reserve, Vintage Oaks and Serenity Townhomes.

Public schools surrounding the White Cedar Gardens neighborhood include Ensley Elementary, Woodham Middle and Woodham High School. The Tyron Branch public library is about 2 miles to the southeast.

White Cedar Gardens and the surrounding neighborhoods are mainly residential areas. Some smaller businesses and convenience stores can be found as residents leave the area and travel south to East Olive Road. The farther residents travel south and southeast, the more there is to offer in shopping and entertainment venues. Pensacola State College is approximately 3 miles to the southeast with the Pensacola Regional Airport just south of the college.

Two public parks are located to the east of the airport near Escambia Bay – Hitzman-Optimist Park and Lavellet Park. Dog owners may enjoy the Bayview Dog Park located about 6 miles south of White Cedar Gardens. This park offers fenced areas to separate large and small dogs and water access to Bayou Texar where dogs can take a swim.

Approximately 4 miles to the east of White Cedar Gardens is the beautiful Escambia Bay with the Escambia River Wildlife Management Area north of the bay. The WMA offers areas for fishing, camping and seasonal hunting.
