Tahiti Terrace Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
Tahiti Terrace is an established neighborhood in Pensacola, Florida. It is comprised primarily of older single-family homes and condos and townhouse-type properties that were built from the early 60s to the early 80s. Conveniently located, the neighborhood is situated east of North Davis Highway, south of Creighton Road, west of Tippin Avenue and north of Langley Avenue.
The rental rates are affordable, making it possible for students who attend the nearby Pensacola Junior College to locate in the community.
Nevertheless, many families call the neighborhood home and send their children to one of three area schools, including Holm Elementary School, Workman Middle School and Washington High School. Recreational opportunities are also plentiful as many locals like to fish, sail, play golf, hike, or bike at one of the many lakes or parks that are located nearby.
For example, locals like to bike along the Scenic Highway that leads to Bay Bluffs Park. Boardwalks in the park allow visitors to appreciate the beauty of Floridian vegetation, including such greenery as water oaks, spruce pines, beeches, and hickories. The majestic trees provide shelter for a variety of birds and animals, including the state bird – the mockingbird, and squirrels and raccoons.
For singles or families, the Tahiti Terrace community is a good place to find housing. Its laid-back atmosphere and convenient location make owning or renting in the neighborhood as practical as it is pleasant.
