The Strandview neighborhood can be found on the north side of Pensacola, Florida, approximately 10 miles, or roughly 20 minutes by car, from the heart of the downtown area. This small residential community is situated just east of US Highway 29 and north of East Nine Mile Road, and is immediately bounded by Holsberry Road on the east. This community consists of a single street, Craft Street, which offers the only access point on the east. Twenty residential lots of varying sizes surround this main roadway, hosting well-maintained, single-family homes in a mix of sizes and architectural styles. Most of the lots offer some shade trees, and several also host backyard swimming pools for escaping the Florida heat.

Strandview is conveniently located close to several major highways and area amenities. A supermarket, Wal-Mart Supercenter and movie theater are all located within a few minutes of home, as are many other retailers and popular restaurants. Nine Mile Square and Lowe’s Shopping Center are two small retail centers within one-half mile to the southwest, offering some additional specialty shops and eateries. However, for major shopping trips, residents may travel several miles to the south to visit the larger University or Cordova Malls.

This community is also within one mile of several area parks, including Drummond Park to the southeast and Ashton Brosnaham Park to the north. Both of these parks primarily offer athletic fields, including a number of soccer/football fields and more than one dozen baseball/softball fields. The Scenic Hills Country Club is also situated nearby.

Another major attraction near Strandview is the University of West Florida campus, located a few miles to the east. This is just one of several higher education options within a short drive of home.
