Pensacola, Florida’s Spanish Oaks neighborhood is located on the far north side of the city, right along the Escambia Bay. It can be found just west of the bay and US Highway 90, north of Old Spanish Trail, and southeast of State Highway 90/East Olive Road. This community is part of Escambia County, in the 32514 zip code. Area communities include Heritage Oaks and Morningside.

Calle Ventoso and Calle Arenoso are the only two streets in this small neighborhood, both offering access points along Highway 290. Approximately 45 residential home sites can be found here, graced with duplexes and townhomes. The lots are small here, and the homes are tightly spaced, but the homes themselves are well maintained.

Residents of this community enjoy scenic views of the bay and easy access to the many recreation options it offers, including boating, fishing and water sports. A few small parks and playgrounds are also situated within a few minutes of home, offering additional opportunities for residents to get out into the fresh air.

The nearby highways host a few shopping and dining options close to home, but for more to see and do, residents travel several miles south toward the airport area. The city’s regional airport is surrounded by many attractions, including larger parks, a major medical center and two of the city’s most prominent retail areas, University Mall and Cordova Mall, all within just a few miles of Spanish Oaks.

This area is also where students living in Spanish Oaks may travel to attend school. Among the options are Cordova Park Elementary, Workman Middle and Washington High. Some higher education options also exist here, including Pensacola State College and Pensacola Christian College. The University of West Florida is another nearby option, located just a few miles from home.
