This residential community is located approximately four miles (12 minutes by car) from the heart of the downtown area, just south of State Highway 298/Lillian Highway and west of State Highway 295/New Warrington Road. Its boundaries are roughly created by West Jackson Street on the south, 48th Avenue on the west, 46th Avenue on the east, and Martha Avenue on the north.

This is predominately a residential neighborhood, made up of several dozen single-family homes. Sherrer is a mix of architectural styles, including some ranch-style homes and multi-level builds, as well as a few townhomes on the far south side of the neighborhood. Several healthcare options are also located nearby, including Baptist Hospital to the east and the Naval Hospital of Pensacola to the southwest.

The club’s challenging 18-hole course overlooks the Pensacola Bay, where Sherrer residents find endless opportunity for outdoor recreation such as boating, fishing and other water activities. Public golf courses, such as the Osceola Municipal Course, are also situated within a few miles of home, as are popular public parks like Lexington Terrace Park.
